MAHER AL KAABI
Maher Al Kaabi is a visionary leader and a seasoned banker with 29+ years’ experience in the Banking and IT industry. He has extensive expertise in Board Membership, Islamic Banking, Wholesale and Consumer Banking, Risk Management, Finance, Operations and Technology, Sales and Distribution, and Business Development.
He serves as a Chairman of the Board of Governors of a school. Currently, he is an advisor to the Group Chairman of Alserkal Group of Companies and serves as an Independent Board Member. He advises the Board on developing a more structured governance model and reviewing and refining the structure of the Group with the objective of creating a more flexible, robust and efficient organization that will be better placed to respond to future business opportunities. He also applies his expertise in transitioning businesses digitally.
Previously, he was the Group Head of Islamic Banking at Emirates National Bank of Dubai. In that role, he led the development of the Islamic Banking business across the ENBD local, regional and international branches. He was an active member of the Islamic Banking Committee and liaised with the local regulatory authorities to create and launch a number of innovative Shari’ah compliant products and services for clients. Additionally, he has also served as Group Head Chief Operating Officer for Wholesale Banking.
Prior to this, he served as the Chief Risk Officer at Dubai Bank. He established the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework at the bank which encompassed all aspects of risk including Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk and Fraud Risk. He has also devised and implemented a risk strategy focused on key areas including Business Continuity, Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance and Governance.
He has also worked at Citigroup for over 14 years, where he assumed various senior roles both locally and internationally. Maher’s other areas of expertise vary based on his professional background in Strategy, Human Capital Development, Engineering, etc., clubbed with soft skills of being a multiplier, passionate self-starter, team builder, innovative leader, etc.
Maher holds a Certificate of FM & Banking from the American University of Sharjah and a BSc. degree in Compute Science from Cyprus College.
FATMA SALEM
Fatma Salem has 20 years of experience working in Free Zones and running large operations and investment management, with an eye focused on excellence.
Fatma has served as the Acting Director General and the Executive Director of Operations at Ajman Free Zone and as SVP Operations in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA).
She has been focused on driving innovation and efficiency in services, and initiated the Integrated Services concept in the Free Zone, a gateway which offers a range of services that help investors in maintaining and growing their operations. She has also worked with multinational companies like Accenture and PWC to create, build and implement strategies and organizational change.
Fatma was selected by Dubai Human Government Resources Authority as an official Mentor for Hamdan Bin Mohammed students’ personal development program 2012.
A graduate of UAE Women Leaders Program by Dubai Women Establishment, she has achieved many accolades during career. In 2016, she was the winner of Emirates Women Award in the Leadership category by Dubai Quality Group, and received this honor from His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
As one of the Innovation Leaders, she was shortlisted in 2014 by Dubai Model Center for the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart Government Award.
DIMA JAMALI
Dima Jamali is currently serving as the Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah, UAE.
She has been in academia for over 20 years, primarily at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where she served as Tenured Professor and Associate Dean for the Olayan School of Business (OSB) and Director for Strategic Partnerships for the University. She made her way fast track through the ranks to Full Professor in 2010 and Endowed Chair in Responsible Leadership in 2014.
Starting in 2015, she has founded and served as President and National Representative for the UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (GCNL), a network of businesses committed to advancing Sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Lebanon.
Dr. Jamali has a PhD in Social Policy and Administration, from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, a Masters in Sociology from San Jose State University, CA and a BA in Public Administration from AUB, Lebanon. Her research and teaching revolve primarily around Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Entrepreneurship (SE) and Family Business.
She is the author/editor of seven books and over 100 international publications, which are highly circulated and cited on an international scale.
Dr. Jamali recently made it to the Stanford list of the top 2% most influential scholars globally for two consecutive years being recognized as a unique and highly ranked talent in her field. She is the winner of the 2016 National Council for Scientific Research Excellence Award, and the 2015 Aspen Institute Faculty Pioneer Award, dubbed by the Financial Times as “the Oscars of the Business School World” for pioneering faculty who are at the cutting edge of teaching and scholarship in their field. She is also winner of the Shield of Excellence for the Arab Region and designated as Personality of the Year for CSR by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility in 2015. She is also winner of the 2010 Shoman Prize for best young Arab researcher, which recognizes distinctive scientific works that contribute to addressing priority issues at the local, regional and international levels.
In 2013, Dr. Jamali was selected for the Eisenhower Fellows Program, joining a global network of leading professionals committed to collaborate for a more prosperous, just and peaceful world; she was also selected in 2007 for the British Academy of Management Fellowship for South Asia and the Middle East which identifies and supports scholars with exceptional potential and trajectory from the Middle East. Dr. Jamali is also winner of the AUB Teaching Excellence Award in 2006, which recognizes outstanding educators from across the AUB campus.
She worked as an expert consultant for the United Nations on Social Policy and CSR as well as various projects funded by the World Bank, the US Agency for International Development, and major private and public firms across the region.

Anwar Mohamed is Managing Partner at One Works (One Works DMCC in UAE and One Works Asia in Singapore) since 2010 and Board Director of PPS One Works (Thailand) since 2018, providing comprehensive consultancy services to important real estate and infrastructure projects in the region, including feasibility, design, project management and technical support to developers, authorities, institutions and contractors through different phases of project and asset lifecycles.
Anwar has also been involved as Program/Project Director for masterplanning and design of mixed-use development, Aviation/Airport projects, Special Economic Zones and Transit Oriented Developments in many locations in Middle East, Africa and Asia such as Singapore, Qatar, KSA, India, Mauritius, Malaysia, Thailand, Senegal, UAE, etc.
A promoter of holistic sustainable development and an advocate of utilizing technology to deliver projects more efficiently, Anwar coordinates the teams to propagate greater awareness in the construction and real estate business towards meaningful, sustainable implementation.
Prior to heading One Works in Middle East and PPS One Works for Asia, he held senior management positions with Samsung Corporation (Engineering and Construction) in Singapore before coming to Dubai in 2007 as Senior Vice President for Economic Zones World (JAFZA), heading its international real estate development initiatives. Anwar holds a masters degree in civil engineering from National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. Currently he is based in Dubai, UAE.

After nearly 25 years working as Senior Equity Partner and Board Member at a top 10 accounting firm, he embarked on a new journey under the banner “Enterprise House” a member firm of FinExpertiza Global.
Atik Munshi is specialized in areas of audit, mergers and acquisitions advisory, fraud and forensic, new business setup/expansion/diversification advice, advising on tax efficient structure and formation of offshore companies and local companies under multiple jurisdictions across the UAE.
Apart from the above, he has a vast experience for compliance advisory, restructuring advisory, advisory on many complex business issues and in the field of Real Estate where he covers areas like Project Feasibility, Project Selection, Project Marketing, and negotiations.
