DR. ADIL AL ZAROONI, CHAIRMAN
Dr. Adil Alzarooni is an Emirati business leader and educator. He has over two decades of experience in executive management, investments, sales, logistics, IT security and economic zone development. He has served in various leadership positions within UAE government entities as well as family owned businesses. He currently operates two family offices.
Dr. Adil has served in various leadership positions within UAE government entities as well as family-owned businesses. He has bolstered his portfolio with directorship positions in a number of firms in diverse sectors including healthcare, education, financial services, logistics, media, technology, food and beverage, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and real estate.
Dr. Adil completed his undergraduate degree in engineering from the Etisalat College of Engineering, then headed to the American University of Sharjah for a Master’s in Business Administration, following which he completed his PhD in Family Businesses and Business Systems from the British University in Dubai.
He is a passionate educator and an inspiring public speaker in the fields of economic zone development and the sustainability of family businesses. He is the co-author of Economic Zones: The Essentials and the author of Sustaining Family Businesses: The Essentials.
BEHZAD
KHAN
Behzad assists clients with financial modeling analysis, forecasting investment outcomes, assessing economic data and developing risk profiles.
As an Investment Associate at Al Zarooni Emirates Investments (ZEI), he helps analyze markets for business opportunities.
Behzad has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Imperial College of Business Studies (Pakistan) and a master’s degree in Applied Finance and Banking degree from the University of Wollongong (Dubai).
AYESHA
HODA
Ayesha works closely with senior managers to develop marketing/communication strategies in line with business goals.
She brings 17+ years’ cross-industry experience in marketing, having worked with SMEs/startups; MNC clients including P&G, PepsiCo, ICI, Toyota, Barclays and Citigroup; and leading non-profits/donors such as USAID, amongst others.
Ayesha holds an MBA (Gold Medalist) from the Institute of Business Management and is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in professional marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK.

Sedki is the Co-Founder of Bolbol/IWARE, a leading software development and digital transformation consulting agency.
The agency developed Tunisia’s first and only digital loyalty card, a game-changing app with over 500,000 downloads/
It was honored with the prestigious title of ‘Huawei Partner of the Year’ in 2021.
Sedki’s team caters to all web development and digital needs of the ventures created by CapiZona.
CAREN SALCEDO
Caren offers people management, administration, investor relations and project management services.
As the Office Manager of Al Zarooni Emirates Investments (ZEI) since 2019, Caren has provided support in human resource, administration, marketing and investment processes of various large-scale projects.
She also has valuable experience working with multinational and publicly listed companies.
Caren holds a degree in Business Administration, with focus on Human Resource Development Management.
